Debt Review Clearance Service Fees
IMPORTANT
Only the NCR can cause or facilitate the removal of the debt review flag from your credit records.
What are the Fees?
Your Individual Clearance Service Fee is determined by the outcome of your assessment as shown below
When do I Pay?
You only pay when you accept the quoted service fee
A refundable file activation fee of R300 is payable upon acceptance of the quoted fee
Where assessment has determined that Ncr intervention is Not Required:
You pay once-off R500 for the acquisition of your Clearance Certificate (where applicable) and/or your Updated Credit Report
Payment is due only when you have received confirmation of clearance
Where assessment has determined that NCR Intervention Is Required:
Once-Off (refundable) File Activation = R300
Clearance Service Fee = R1200
Total Service Fee = R1500 (R300 x 5 months)
The Clearance Service shall commence upon acivaion of the debit order arrangement or full service fee payment.
None-Affidavit Clearance
R500 Once-Off
This Service Package applies where:
1. The fee covers costs to acquire your Clearance Certificate (where applicable) and/or your updated 3inOne Credit Report with the debt review flag removed.
This service fee applies mostly where:
* You did not apply for debt review
* The debt counsellor is no longer involved in debt counselling
* The debt counsellor refuse to issue a clearance certificate
NCR Dispute Clearance
The Ncr dispute process is necessary where the debt review process was not completed in compliance with the NCA regulation and/or is deemed unlawful
This Service Package applies where:
1. NCR intervention is necessary
2. NCR Dispute Form 29 is submitted
1. File Activtion (refundable) = R300
2. Clearance Service Fee = R1200
Total Service Fee = R1500 (R300 x 5months)
The R300 File Activation Fee is refundable only when the NCR refuse to remove the debt review flag for any reason whatsovever
Debt Reveiw Clearance Assessment Registration
The Debt Review Assessment is Free - You are not under obligation to use the recommended clearance action
Clearance Certificate
A Clearance Certificate is issued when all accounts that were placed under debt review are settled in full and you are in possession of settlement letter(s) from credit providers Where the debt counsellor on record refuse to issue the clearance certificate or is not contactable, the NCR shall facilitate issuance of the Clearance Certificate
Unlawful Debt Review
The debt review flag on your credit records is unlawful when:
* You did not sign the Form 16 application form
* You did not agree to the restructured repayment agreements (Form 17.2)
* You did not sign the supporting affidavit for court application
* There is no court order in place
Unknown/Missing Debt Counsellor
The debt review flag on your credit record must be removed when:
* The debt counsellor on record is unknown to you
* The debt counsellor is not contactable
* The debt counsellor is no longer involved in debt counselling service
* The debt counsellor registration with NCR has lapsed
* The debt counsellor registration has been cancelled by the Tribunal
